The Pilots and Innovative Projects Program will help increase the number of researchers using a population and/or social science perspective on Hispanic AD/ADRD with an emphasis of integration with neuropsychology and biology. Funding will help new investigators conduct population and/or social science research on Hispanic AD/ADRD using studies both in the U.S and internationally.
- Disparities in Hospice Utilization and End-of-Life Outcomes Among Hispanic Medicare Beneficiaries with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Project Lead: Greg N. Orewa, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health, UTSA.
